In this role, you will assist with managing customer accounts, handling collections, and supporting various AR functions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in AR and collections within a dynamic and growing company.\nAs an AR and Collection Intern you will:\nAssist with customer inquiries and issues through professional and timely email and phone communication.\nManage a list of outstanding customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.\nEnsure accuracy of customer account balances by issuing and reviewing customer statements.\nSupport AR invoice creation and act as a backup to our billing specialist as needed.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure the AR and collection processes meet organizational needs.\nProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.\nAssist with ad-hoc projects, including system upgrades and integration of new business acquisitions.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree (BA/BS); concentration in Accounting, preferred but not required.\nBasic understanding of accounts receivable processes and customer collections.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and basic functions.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nAttention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nPrevious internship or relevant work experience in an office setting is a plus.\nBenefits\nCompetitive stipend\nCompany sponsored training, workshops, education, and team building.\nEvery day you’ll get to work with amazing talent in a fast-growing company that really values their people.\nThe work/life setup you need to be successful\nA creative, collaborative, supportive environment that gives you the autonomy to explore new ideas, grow your skillset, and create outstanding results\nThe opportunity to work with amazing talent in a fast-growing company that really values its team\nTCP is an equal opportunity employer.
