About the Role

As an Auto Claims Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting customers immediately following an accident. You will guide them through the claims process with empathy, professionalism, and expertise - ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience (Legendary Service)

  • Deliver a customer-first experience through empathy, active listening, and clear communication

  • Provide timely updates and guidance, ensuring customers feel supported during the claims process

  • Welcome and assist customers onsite, creating a professional and reassuring environment

Execution & Claim Management

  • Manage claims end-to-end, including coordinating towing, appraisals, repairs, and rentals

  • Maintain a high-volume caseload while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely resolution

  • Review and reconcile repair estimates to support fair and appropriate settlements

  • Maintain detailed and accurate claims documentation

Analytical Thinking & Risk Management

  • Gather, assess, and validate information from multiple sources to support claim decisions

  • Apply policy knowledge to explain coverage and determine outcomes aligned with guidelines

  • Identify discrepancies and ensure claims are handled in accordance with regulatory and risk standards

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., repair shops, rental providers) to deliver seamless service

  • Contribute to team performance by supporting operational goals and maintaining productivity metrics

Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop expertise in claims handling, coverage, and investigation practices

  • Contribute to process improvements and support a culture of continuous learning

  • Pursue professional development, including CIP designation (asset)

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of auto claims adjusting experience preferred; however, candidates with transferable skills and strong interest in claims are encouraged

  • Strong ability to manage high-volume workflows (100+ claims) with attention to detail

  • Proven customer service and communication skills

  • Effective time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, investigate, and negotiate outcomes

  • Post-secondary education is an asset

  • Progress toward or completion of CIP designation is an asset
