TD Bank Group is a Canadian bank founded in 1855 whose modern form dates from the 1955 merger of the Bank of Toronto and the Dominion Bank. It runs one of the two largest retail banking networks in Canada, an unusually large American retail franchise built along the east coast under the TD Bank brand, a wholesale bank through TD Securities and a direct investing business, and it held a substantial stake in Charles Schwab for several years. Headquartered in Toronto and listed in Toronto and New York, it has spent recent years rebuilding its anti-money-laundering controls after United States regulatory penalties.

Our mission is to support leaders and teams in managing change efficiently, ensuring that new ways of working are embraced and sustained for long-term impact, all while delivering exceptional client service during times of transition.

Job Responsibilities:

Leveraging your knowledge of the business and regulatory environment, you translate regulatory requirements into practical business actions, align leaders, priorities, controls, and execution, and drive readiness, adoption, and sustainable compliance across Product Groups and Journeys.

Reporting to the Wealth Change Management Practice Lead, the Change Manager is responsible for driving tactical change delivery, advancing business outcomes, and strengthening change capability across their assigned portfolio.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary Change Business Partner for an assigned Wealth area, connecting transformation priorities to business outcomes.

  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and stakeholders to align priorities, readiness, capacity, and execution.

  • Advise on impacts, risks, dependencies, and change saturation, bringing an enterprise colleague and client perspective.

Regulatory Change & Control Readiness

  • Translate regulatory obligations and impact assessments into clear business actions, accountabilities, readiness, communication, training, and sustainment plans.

  • Partner across Risk, Compliance, Legal, business, technology, operations, and controls to integrate change activities and maintain traceability.

  • Report on readiness, risks, decisions, remediation, and implementation, and coordinate transition to business-as-usual ownership, control adoption, evidence retention, and audit readiness.

Transformation Delivery & Value Realization

  • Lead change strategies and execution for assigned Product Groups, including stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, and adoption.

  • Assess impacts, risks, dependencies, and barriers; define measures, track outcomes, and intervene where adoption or sustainable compliance is at risk.

  • Integrate change into delivery planning and Product Group ceremonies, build change networks, and support business results.

Team & Practice Excellence

  • Strengthen the Wealth Change Management Practice through coaching, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and consistent application of best practices.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.

Job Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in change management, organizational transformation, and adoption strategy; change management certification is a strong asset.

  • Proven trusted advisor with the ability to translate business priorities into effective change strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Strong influence, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with success driving alignment across all levels without direct authority.

  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory change management, risk and control frameworks, governance, and the three lines of defense within financial services.

  • Experience supporting regulatory impact assessments, gap analysis, remediation, control implementation, or policy and procedure change.

  • Learning agility, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Proven ability to build credibility and strong partnerships across business and corporate functions.

  • Experience in Agile delivery environments (Jira, Confluence, and related tools) is an asset.
