The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong understanding of the business objectives, data management capabilities, stakeholder landscape, and delivery challenges associated with their initiatives. The Delivery Lead is expected to operate as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and helping teams navigate complex delivery decisions.\nKey Accountabilities\nDelivery\nLead the end-to-end execution of large-scale enterprise data initiatives from initiation through implementation and transition to business ownership.\nManage multiple concurrent initiatives, typically leading two large projects simultaneously while supporting additional delivery activities.\nDevelop and maintain integrated plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.\nEstablish delivery strategies that balance scope, timeline, cost, quality, and resource constraints.\nMonitor progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments.\nChallenge delivery assumptions, timelines, scope, and resource plans when risks to execution are identified.\nIdentify, manage, and coordinate cross-functional dependencies to ensure delivery plans remain aligned and potential conflicts are proactively addressed.\nStakeholder Management & Executive Engagement\nServe as the primary point of coordination and relationship management for sponsors, stakeholders, team members, vendors, and external partners.\nProvide clear, concise, and actionable updates to senior leadership, including EDMO Senior Leadership Team members and the Head of EDMO.\nFacilitate executive discussions, governance forums, steering committees, and project review sessions.\nInfluence stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams to drive alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making.\nRisk, Issue & Dependency Management\nOwn and maintain project RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.\nIdentify delivery risks early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate significant risks and delivery concerns with recommended actions.\nFacilitate cross-functional dependency management across business, technology, vendor, and data teams.\nFinancial Management & Delivery Controls\nSupport project financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing financial monitoring activities.\nTrack project expenditures, forecast variances, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.\nPartner with finance, business, and delivery stakeholders to maintain financial transparency and delivery accountability.\nGovernance, Reporting & Compliance\nEstablish and execute delivery governance frameworks that support effective delivery oversight and decision-making.\nPrepare and deliver executive reporting, dashboards, status updates, and briefing materials.\nEnsure delivery documentation, reporting, decisions, actions, and commitments are maintained and tracked in accordance with organizational standards.\nSupport internal audit, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements as applicable.\nSupport continuous improvement of delivery practices, governance processes, and reporting standards.\nVendor & Partner Coordination\nCoordinate vendor and third-party activities, monitor deliverables and commitments, and ensure alignment with project objectives and delivery plans.\nBreadth & Depth\nExperienced Delivery Lead capable of independently leading large, complex enterprise initiatives ranging from approximately $1M to $5M in value.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with significant business, data, technology, and stakeholder complexity.\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, financial controls, and delivery best practices.\nAbility to operate effectively in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments and apply the appropriate methodology based on initiative requirements.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and navigate ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization.\nStrong business acumen with the ability to rapidly understand organizational priorities, business processes, and data management capabilities.\nQualifications\nRequired\nUndergraduate degree or Technical Certificate\nGraduate degree preferred\n7+ years of project or program management experience.\nDemonstrated experience leading large-scale software, data, or technology delivery initiatives.\nExperience managing initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong expertise in project planning, schedule management, financial oversight, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.\nExperience with governance frameworks, RAID management, dependency management, and delivery controls.\nStrong communication, facilitation, presentation, and influencing skills.\nDemonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.\nExperience managing initiatives with budgets ranging from $1M to $5M.\nStrongly Preferred\nExperience leading enterprise data, data governance, data management, analytics, or regulatory initiatives.\nExperience delivering software development, data, or technology initiatives within financial services or other highly regulated environments.\nKnowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and related data management disciplines.\nExperience supporting executive governance forums and senior leadership reporting.\nPMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum
