In this role, you’ll provide Level 2 operational support for a large-scale enterprise network environment and help maintain the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical services.\nIf you’re experienced in network operations, enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, and work well in fast-paced environments, this could be a strong fit.\nWhat you’ll do\nProvide Level 2 support for enterprise network infrastructure\n\nMonitor, investigate, and respond to network incidents and service alerts\n\nTroubleshoot issues across LAN, MAN, WAN, RLAN, wireless, firewall, load balancing, and optical environments\n\nSupport incident management and service restoration activities\n\nPerform problem determination and root cause identification across multiple network technologies\n\nWork closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve technical issues\n\nUse enterprise monitoring and diagnostic tools to assess network performance and health\n\nStrong contribution to the ongoing stability and resilience of a 24/7 network operations environment\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nStrong experience supporting enterprise network environments\n\nSolid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and telecommunications connectivity\n\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\n\nAbility to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a high-tempo environment\n\nA collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach\n\nTechnical skills\nYou should have experience with several of the following:\nCisco routers and switches\n\nFirewalls, Load balancers, and Aruba wireless technologies\n\nSwitching and routing across:\nCisco Catalyst 2950, 2960, 2970, 3550, 3560X, 3750, 3850, and 6500 series\n\nCisco Nexus 2000, 5000, 7000, and 9000 series\n\nSD-WAN, including Cisco/Viptela\n\nAruba Silver Peak, Aruba CX switches\n\nNice to have\nExperience with any of the following would be considered an asset:\nPalo Alto Firewalls\n\nF5 Load Balancers\n\nAruba or Cisco wireless solutions\n\nVMware NSX\n\nVirtualization\n\nCloud computing\n\nNetwork security\n\nVMware\n\nAWS\n\nMonitoring and diagnostic tools\nExperience with one or more of the following tools is preferred:\nTivoli ITNM\n\nPagerDuty\n\nSevOne\n\nInfoblox\n\nExtraHop\n\nEducation and certifications\nTechnology degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience\n\nCCNP certification is required\n\nMinimum 3 years of Network Operations experience\n\nPCNSE is an asset\n\nMicrosoft Azure certification is an asset\n\nShift schedule:\nThis role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule in a 24/7 environment:\n7:00 AM to 7:00 PM\n\n7:00 PM to 7:00 AM\n\nCandidates must be available to work both day and night shifts based on the team schedule.\nAbout the team\nThe Operations Support Group (Network Operations) is a frontline service availability team responsible for supporting a mission-critical enterprise network environment.
