You will explore aspects of claims data and claims processes with the opportunity to collaborate with key partners across the organization. You will be instrumental in the delivery of key strategic priorities with regular opportunities to present analyses and reporting broadly to partners and executives.\nUnder the supervision of the Senior Manager, Claims Insights the manager will be involved in the following key activities:\nLead and develop a group of actuarial and business insights analysts specialized in long-tail claims data, analysis, and interpretation of results.\nManage work on high priority, non-routine, projects related to long-tail claims, and the development of innovative dashboards in collaboration with relevant partners.\nContribute to the timely delivery and presentation of regular reporting and develop analytics and deep dives of long-tail claims financial and operational results to partners and executives across the organization.\nOversee end-to-end analyses and insights solutions over a range of complexity, from the initial demand to the delivery of reporting or analysis and presentation of results.\nApply an effective and collaborative approach to stakeholder management. Build and nurture positive working relationships with key partners and executives as appropriate.\nBuild for the future and provide people leadership; oversee personal development plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain highly diverse, qualified and engaged team members.\nRequirements\nBachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant discipline.\nMinimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.\nExperience in claims operations or reserving is an asset.\nStrong programming skills (SQL, Python).\nHighly developed problem-solving and analysis skills with consistent rigor in quality of work.\nUses innovation and creativity to improve work efficiency and results.
