This role identifies what is driving defects, uncovers control gaps and improvement opportunities, and turns findings into actionable recommendations that strengthen fraud prevention and detection.\nSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm EST\nDepth & Scope:\nConducts analysis on customer, account and transactional data to create segmentation and develop fraud rules/strategies while balancing the impact to operational teams and the customer experience\nAccountable for loss targets and the customer experience generated by fraud strategies\nMonitors and adjusts existing detection strategies to ensure continued effectiveness\nCreates management reporting for fraud metrics, strategy performance and trends analysis\nPrepares data and reporting and informs business requirements on products/processes\nMaintains ongoing processes and data updates\nActs as a subject matter expert and represents the team at system/project meetings as well as industry forums\nMaintains productive relationships with all internal stakeholders including Fraud Operations, Risk Management, Product, Retail, Finance as well as external vendors\n Education & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in a numerate discipline e.g. Math, Statistics, Business required\n2-4 years or internships/co-op work experience in analytical capacity\nExperience in fraud management - asset\nProficient with data extraction/mining tools: SQL - required, Knowledge Seeker - asset, SAS - asset\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications; Advanced Excel\nStrong communication skills and a proven ability to develop effective relationships with external and internal business partners are required\nConceptual thinker; ability to wade through data and arrive at conclusions\nStrong interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with team members of all levels\nStrong communication and presentation skills.
