This role combines software engineering, data science, and machine learning expertise to develop scalable AI systems in production environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop end-to-end pipelines including data preprocessing, feature engineering, validation, and deployment.\nFine-tune LLM-based applications using frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, or OpenAI APIs.\nDeploy models into production using CI/CD pipline.\nBuild scalable microservices or APIs to serve ML models in real time.\nImplement monitoring for model drift, performance, and reliability.\nCollaborate with data engineering teams to define data requirements.\nWork with structured and unstructured datasets using Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas, etc.\nEnsure data quality, governance, and security\nEvaluate new AI frameworks, tools, and techniques.\nPrototype solutions and run experiments to explore feasibility.\nStay up to date with advancements in LLMs, vector embeddings, multimodal AI, and model compression/optimization.\nWork with product managers and business teams to translate business problems into AI solutions.\nPartner with cloud engineers and DevOps teams for scalable deployment.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n7 years relevant experience\nStrong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).\nExperience with LLMs, NLP, or deep learning.\nKnowledge of MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and model deployment.\nUnderstanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.\nProblem-solving and analytical thinking.\nAbility to design scalable, maintainable systems.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\nCollaboration in agile or cross-functional team environments.\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.\nExperience building large-scale AI systems or enterprise-grade ML applications.\nExperience working in regulated industries.\nKnowledge of vector databases , RAG systems, or generative AI applications.\nWho We Are:\nTD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
