You'll gain exposure to a variety of accounts payable processes while building valuable experience that can support future career growth within finance and accounting.\nWhat You'll Do\nProcess high volumes of vendor invoices and payment requests accurately and efficiently.\n\nManage Accounts Payable correspondence and maintain organized financial records.\n\nMatch purchase orders, enter invoice data, and ensure accurate payment processing.\n\nResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues in partnership with internal teams.\n\nProcess vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and internal payables.\n\nSupport month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.\n\nAssist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and records as needed.\n\nContribute to special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support Accounts Payable operations.\n\nWhat We're Looking for\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.\n\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong accuracy and data-entry skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.\n\nCustomer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities.\n\nBasic mathematical and accounting skills.\n\nExperience using accounting or invoice-processing systems is an asset.\n\nFamiliarity with accounts payable processes, purchase orders, and expense reporting is preferred.\n\nWork Conditions\nThis is a hybrid position based in our Herndon, VA office.\n\nTeam members are expected to work onsite three (3) days per week, with the opportunity to work remotely on the remaining days, subject to business needs and company policy.\n\nCompensation\nExpected Base Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 USD annually\nActual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, and geographic location.\nFinal compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, business needs, and other job-related factors.
