- Learn the server platform architecture and understand the role of CPLD/FPGA in the system
- Read board schematics, block diagrams, chip datasheets, and hardware specifications
- Understand board-level power, reset, clock, and control signal flows
- Assist with CPLD/FPGA RTL development and modification
- Implement LED control, GPIO control, signal monitoring, counters, and state machines
- Write basic testbenches and perform RTL simulation
- Support CPLD/FPGA compilation, programming, and functional verification
- Participate in board bring-up and hardware debugging
- Use oscilloscopes and DMMs for signal verification
- Work with EE, BIOS, BMC, Validation teams
- Record design changes, test results, and debugging findings
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of digital logic, electronic circuits, and FPGA/RTL design. Familiar with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL through coursework or projects.
Able to use basic lab equipment and read technical documents.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
