Job Summary:**
The Inventory Control Supervisor at Hyve Solutions Corporation will oversee and optimize inventory management processes to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient material flow, and timely fulfillment of production and customer orders. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and supporting overall supply chain objectives.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and train a team of inventory control specialists and warehouse personnel on best practices for inventory management, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
* Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and policies to ensure accuracy, minimize discrepancies, and optimize inventory turns.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
* Monitor and analyze inventory data, identify trends, and provide insights to management regarding inventory performance, obsolescence, and potential risks.
* Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure material availability to meet production schedules.
* Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and returns in a timely and efficient manner.
* Implement and utilize inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) to track inventory movement, generate reports, and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards related to inventory management.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse space utilization.
* Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, including accuracy, turns, and shrinkage.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or materials management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counting, physical inventory procedures, and demand forecasting.
* Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a high-performing team.
* Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
