This role oversees a contracted guard force, drives strategic initiatives, ensures compliance with internal and external standards, and protects people, facilities, assets, and operations across the campus.\nKey Responsibilities\nPhysical Security & Asset Protection\nOversee physical security programs across all facilities, including access control, surveillance, perimeter protection, and guard force operations.\nLead asset management and asset protection strategies to reduce loss, theft, and misuse of company property.\nConduct and oversee penetration testing, security risk analysis (SRA) and facility vulnerability assessments (FVA).\nDevelop and maintain facility counter-terrorism measures, threat mitigation plans, and protective design standards.\nIncident Management & Investigations\nDirect the response to security incidents, ensuring timely escalation, documentation, and resolution.\nLead internal investigations involving theft, misconduct, workplace violence, fraud, or policy violations.\nCoordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and external partners as required.\nOperational Security & Intelligence\nSupport the US West and company security intelligence program, including threat monitoring, geopolitical analysis, and risk forecasting.\nMaintain crisis management frameworks and serve as a key leader during critical events.\nCompliance, Audit & Governance\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.\nManage security audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain documentation, reporting, and metrics for executive leadership and audit committees.\nTraining & Awareness\nDevelop and deliver security training programs for employees, leadership, and specialized teams.\nOversee drills, tabletop exercises, and readiness assessments for crisis response and emergency procedures.\nLeadership & People Management\nDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, partners and internal business functions.\nConduct performance reviews where applicable, set goals, and build a high-performance culture.\nPhysical Requirements\nA successful candidate for this role may be required to travel between business locations by car and move throughout manufacturing and operational facilities as part of their responsibilities. This can include moving through production areas and other work environments while conducting security assessments, site visits, audits, project management activities, and inspections.
