This role is ideal for an individual with strong troubleshooting skills, a passion for technology, and a commitment to ensuring every product meets the highest standards of quality and performance.\nPosition Summary\nAs a Test Technician, you will play a critical role in validating the functionality, reliability, and performance of complex server and hardware systems. You will be responsible for performing system setup, testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and rework activities to identify and resolve technical issues prior to customer delivery.\nThe ideal candidate combines technical aptitude, strong analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.\nKey Responsibilities\nTesting & System Validation\nPerform setup, configuration, calibration, testing, and validation of electronic, mechanical, and system-level assemblies.\nExecute functional, diagnostic, and performance testing on components, subassemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications.\nVerify system readiness and product quality through established testing methodologies and procedures.\nPerform testing on complex server, storage, networking, and computing systems.\nTroubleshooting & Problem Resolution\nDiagnose, isolate, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level failures using established test procedures and diagnostic tools.\nAnalyze test results and identify root causes of defects, performance issues, and system failures.\nPerform corrective actions, repairs, and rework on assemblies and completed systems to restore full functionality.\nEscalate complex technical issues when necessary and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to achieve resolution.\nProcess Execution & Documentation\nFollow Test Process Instructions (TPI), work instructions, specifications, and quality standards with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.\nInterpret Statements of Work (SOW), technical documentation, and test requirements to determine appropriate testing methodologies and acceptance criteria.\nDocument test results, failure analysis findings, corrective actions, and repair activities accurately and completely.\nPrepare technical reports summarizing findings, troubleshooting activities, and recommended solutions.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve test processes, product quality, and operational efficiency.\nProvide feedback on recurring failures, process gaps, and quality concerns to support continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence efforts by helping reduce defects, rework, and production delays.\nOperational Support\nAssist with additional manufacturing activities such as unpacking, packaging, labeling, staging, and crating products for shipment.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.\nSupport cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.\nQualifications & Skills\nTechnical Qualifications\nExperience testing, troubleshooting, or repairing computer hardware, networking equipment, servers, or electronic systems.\nWorking knowledge of computer hardware components, system configurations, and diagnostic processes.\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, work instructions, specifications, and test requirements.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, production, or electronics assembly environments preferred.\nCore Competencies\nExceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a structured and efficient manner.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational and time-management abilities.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining accuracy and productivity.\nComputer Skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nAbility to utilize databases, manufacturing systems, and diagnostic software applications.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to regularly lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to frequently bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.\nComfortable working on ladders, stools, or elevated workstations when required.\nAbility to safely work within a manufacturing and production environment.\nWhy Join Hyve Solutions?\nAs a Test Technician at Hyve Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to some of the world's most influential technology companies.
