The company co-innovates with deep engineering expertise, treating customer success as its own while building tomorrow's digital infrastructure.\nNetwork Engineer responsible for switch bring-up, network validation, rack qualification, port mapping, BER/PRBS and insertion-loss testing, automation support, and troubleshooting of hardware, firmware, optics, and networking issues. The engineer will work closely with SWE, TE, customers, and vendors to deliver validated, automation-ready network platforms for manufacturing and production deployment.\nNetwork Engineer (NWE)\nKey Responsibilities\nConfigure, validate, and troubleshoot network switches.\nSupport switch bring-up, firmware upgrades, and network qualification.\nPerform network validation including port mapping, connectivity, BER/PRBS, insertion loss, and traffic testing.\nTroubleshoot networking, hardware, firmware, optics, transceivers, and cabling issues.\nDevelop and support network test plans, validation procedures, and automation requirements.\nWork closely with Software Engineering, Test Engineering, Manufacturing, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and support production builds.\nPerform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution.\nRequired Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or IT Support.\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP, LACP, and routing protocols.\nHands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network switches.\nStrong Linux knowledge and command-line troubleshooting skills.\nExperience using SSH and other remote access tools.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nBS degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPython scripting and network automation experience.\nLinux Shell/Bash scripting experience.\nExperience with Cisco, Juniper, Accton, Celestica, or similar networking platforms.\nExperience with switch firmware updates and validation.\nExperience troubleshooting optics, transceivers, fiber, DAC cables, and link issues.\nExperience with network testing, including port mapping, BER/PRBS, insertion loss, and traffic validation.\nExperience in data center, server, rack, manufacturing, or NPI environments.\nFamiliarity with switch CLI, SDKs, and vendor utilities.\nAbility to read network topology diagrams, patch books, and technical documentation.\nDesired Attributes\nSelf-motivated and hands-on engineer.\nStrong attention to detail and ownership mindset.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.\nCustomer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.\nBase Compensation: 100k - 170k/yr\nWhat’s in it for you\nBenefit Insurance\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) \nHealth Savings Account (HSA) \nMental Health Care \n401K with match \nPaid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Days \nTuition Reimbursement \nPerks at Work\nLEAP Program \nMyFlexPay \nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
