The role owns the product lifecycle, vendor relationship management, business planning, pipeline development, partner enablement, and go-to-market execution for HPE Storage solutions including:\nHPE Alletra Storage\nHPE GreenLake for Storage\nHPE StoreOnce\nHPE Zerto\nHPE Data Services Cloud Console\nHPE Data Protection & Cyber Resilience Solutions\nHPE Private Cloud Business Edition (storage-related initiatives)\nThe Product Manager acts as the primary business owner for the HPE Storage portfolio, collaborating closely with sales, pre-sales, marketing, operations, and HPE teams to achieve revenue, margin, and market-share objectives.\nResponsibilities:\nBusiness ManagementOwn the overall business performance of the HPE Storage portfolio.\nDevelop and execute annual business plans, GTM strategies, and growth initiatives.\nManage revenue, GP, backend rebates, and inventory targets.\nMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.\nIdentify new business opportunities and market expansion strategies.\nDrive forecast accuracy and pipeline management.\n\nVendor Relationship ManagementServe as the primary commercial contact for HPE Storage.\nEstablish strong working relationships with HPE business units and channel teams.\nConduct regular business reviews and performance tracking.\nManage vendor programs, rebates, MDF, incentives, and promotional activities.\nEnsure compliance with vendor requirements and certifications.\n\nPartner DevelopmentRecruit and develop strategic storage-focused partners.\nDrive partner activation and enablement initiatives.\nSupport partners with solution positioning, pricing strategy, and opportunity identification.\nConduct partner business planning and quarterly reviews.\nIncrease partner certifications and storage competency attainment.\n\nSales & Pipeline DevelopmentBuild and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.\nWork closely with sales representatives to identify and close opportunities.\nSupport large opportunities through deal structuring and vendor engagement.\nLead pricing negotiations and special bid requests.\nDrive Technology Refresh and competitive displacement campaigns.\nPromote VMware modernization, AI-ready storage, and cyber resilience solutions.\n\nMarketing & GTM ExecutionDevelop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with vendor objectives.\nDrive workshops, roadshows, webinars, and executive briefings.\nWork with marketing teams to maximize MDF utilization.\nPromote key HPE initiatives including:Freedom from VMware\nBreak the AI Bottleneck\nDefense-in-Depth Cyber Resilience\nStorage Refresh Programs\n\nSolution EnablementDevelop strong knowledge across HPE Storage solutions.\nDeliver product training and sales enablement programs.\nWork with pre-sales teams to create reference architectures and solution playbooks.\nPosition storage solutions within Hybrid Cloud, Data Protection, AI, and Cyber Recovery environments.\nSupport demonstrations, customer workshops, and proof-of-concepts.\n\nOperational ManagementManage inventory, backlog, pricing, and availability.\nMonitor stock levels and inventory aging.\nWork with procurement and vendor operations teams to optimize supply planning.\nEnsure pricing governance and quote turnaround efficiency.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience:\nMinimum 4-6 years experience within IT distribution\nMinimum education level required is a Bachelor’s Degree\nAppropriate vendor product sales certifications\nStrong leadership attributes\nSelf-starter\nResults focused\nSound business acumen\nAbility to work with little direction\nCapacity to lead vertial teams\nInfluence business outcomes without having direct control\nAt Tec D, a TD SYNNEX Company,our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
