The company co-innovates with deep engineering expertise, treating customer success as its own while building tomorrow's digital infrastructure.\nThe Quality Engineering Technician (QET) supports manufacturing and quality operations by conducting process audits, driving corrective actions, maintaining quality documentation, supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The QET works closely with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Quality Control teams to improve product quality, process adherence, and operational effectiveness.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities Required:\nProcess Audits & Compliance\nConduct scheduled audits of manufacturing processes using applicable VMI Checklists, Control Plans, Quality Plans, and other quality standards.\nTrack audit completion status and maintain weekly audit schedules.\nDocument audit findings and monitor corrective actions through closure.\nVerify process compliance and identify gaps requiring improvement.\nCorrective Action & QRQC Support\nSupport Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) activities by investigating top manufacturing quality issues.\nTrack implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of quality concerns.\nMaintain visibility of open quality issues and action status.\nQuality Control Checklist Management\nReview and improve QC inspection checklists based on manufacturing feedback and quality findings.\nIdentify gaps in existing inspection methods and recommend corrective updates.\nMaintain current inspection documentation and ensure deployment of revisions.\nFirst Article Inspection (FAI) Support\nCoordinate and track planned and completed FAI activities.\nMaintain FAI metrics and status reporting.\nEnsure early notification and communication of upcoming FAI requirements.\nAssist with documentation review and completion.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve training, knowledge transfer, and quality processes.\nParticipate in process improvement projects and implementation activities.\nSupport development of standardized work practices and tracking methods for quality operations.\nCollaborate with Quality Engineers and management to drive long-term quality improvements.\nReporting & Documentation\nMaintain quality tracking systems, action logs, audit records, and performance metrics.\nPrepare summaries of audit results, quality findings, corrective actions, and improvement activities.\nProvide regular status updates to Quality Engineering and management teams.\nQualifications:\nEducation\nAS or BS degree preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education, technical training, and manufacturing quality experience may be considered.\nExperience\n2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, engineering technician, or quality control environment.\nExperience supporting process audits, inspections, corrective actions, or quality system activities.\nExperience working in high-volume manufacturing, electronics, server, or related industries preferred.\nTechnical Knowledge\nUnderstanding quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to interpret work instructions, control plans, quality plans, process flow diagrams, and engineering documentation.\nFamiliarity with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.\nWorking knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements and documentation preferred.\nExperience utilizing quality tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to identify process gaps and drive issue resolution through cross-functional collaboration.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nAbility to collect, analyze, and present quality data and metrics.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience conducting manufacturing process audits.\nFamiliarity with IPC standards, defect classification, and electronic assembly inspection.\nExperience supporting QRQC, CAPA, 8D, SCAR, or continuous improvement activities.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.\nLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience is a plus.\nWhat’s in it for you\nBenefit Insurance\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA) \nHealth Savings Account (HSA) \nMental Health Care \n401K with match \nPaid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Days \nTuition Reimbursement \nPerks at Work\nLEAP Program \nMyFlexPay \nWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
