Leads or serves as experienced technical resource in multi-discipline IT security projects intended to continually improve the data security and operating procedures. Keeps abreast of the latest Data security technologies and identifies opportunities to leverage them to improve TD SYNNEX's data protection. The responsibilities include reviewing our current data security measures and processes in all geographies TD SYNNEX operates in, identifying and addressing areas of weakness through investigation and cross business participation. Continuously improves core processes in data security and ensures that identity & access management, threat hunting and analysis are completed for data access, both on-premise and in the cloud. Documents operating procedures and run books and trains the support team(s).\nResponsibilities:\nTechnical implementation, enhancement and ongoing support for data security technologies like DLP (30%)\n\nExecute and continually improve core data security processes such as threat analysis, and data monitoring and control of data access(20%)\n\nDevelop processes for the categorizations of data and access controls to the data for both Structured and Unstructured data. Utilize learnings to improve capabilities and automation (20%)\n\nWork with the application security team to develop joint processes for Data orchestration and Data improvements for team efficiency, documentation and training(20%)\n\nDevelop and deliver Data analytics and KPI reporting for ensuring operational effectiveness and controls health (10%)\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience:\nBachelor's Degree with ITfield of study required.\n8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience\nExperience of using AI services in Data Security.\nOther Education / Certifications: selection of security and technology certifications and/or equivalent proven work experience\nAble to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.\nAble to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.\nAble to converse and write effectively in English and local language.\nAble to create and conduct formal presentations.\nAble to interact effectively with all levels of management\nPossesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.\nPossesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.\nAble to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.\nAble to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.\nAble to work independently with minimum supervision.\nAble to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information\nAble to build solid, effective working relationships with others.\nAble to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.\nAble to quickly learn new systems and technology.\nAble to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.\nWorking Conditions:\nOccasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.\nOn-call availability required as necessary.\nSome travel required.\nAt Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX Company, our values guide everything we do: Together, We Own It, We Dare to Go, We Grow and Win, and above all, We Do the Right Thing.
