Test Engineer I

Train production personnel on test processes and equipment.
Troubleshoot test, product, and system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain test scripts, diagnostic programs, and automation tools using Python.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot complex server and system-level hardware.
Utilize Linux systems for software installation, test execution, log analysis, and system diagnostics.
Assist in developing test plans, integration strategies, and validation procedures.
Maintain test fixtures, adapters, and related test equipment.
Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing. maintaining test procedures and specifications.
Install hardware, perform rack integration, cable routing, and system configuration.
Analyze test data, improve yields, and support continuous process improvements.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing ops, Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with manufacturing test systems, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and diagnostics.
Experience working in Linux environments, including command-line operations and shell scripting.
Knowledge of server hardware, system integration, and networking fundamentals.
Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in PCBA high-volume manufacturing or production test environments would be plus.
Familiarity with SQL databases, Git, and automated test equipment (ATE).
Knowledge of networking protocols and server rack integration.
