To help patients.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Research Associate ll, Preclinical/Clinical Team - Flow Cytometry, executes and provides support for sample processing, acquisition, and data analysis in preclinical and/or clinical development within a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) / Washington State Medical Test Site/ CAP Accredited environment.\nEssential Functions:\nInterprets and follows, with accuracy, both study and flow cytometry protocols.\n\nPrepares and run samples for flow cytometry analysis.\n\nIndependently performs tissue culture activities.\n\nMaintains detailed and organized laboratory notes, documents, and files.\n\nPerforms quality control review and verification of scientific data.\n\nWorks with laboratory leadership to properly prepare for and execute assigned studies and protocols.\n\nMaintains and calibrates lab equipment daily and/or weekly, including but not limited to the flow cytometer.\n\nPrepares various solutions for stock or project use.\n\nPerforms QC and verification of flow cytometry data and/or maintenance records.\n\nIndependent troubleshooting of data and various pieces of equipment\n\nParticipates in team and scientific meetings as appropriate.\n\nWork in a team-oriented environment and also able to work independently with assistance by supervisor.\n\nSuggests topics and prepares data for poster presentations.\n\nAdheres to protocols and standard operating procedures.\n\nParticipate in the development of standard operation procedures, as appropriate.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nJob Requirements:\n1-3 years Flow Cytometry experience.\nBachelors degree and 1-2 years general lab experience can replace flow cytometry experience at TD2’s discretion.\nExperience in tissue/cell culture is required.\nRequired Specialized/Technical Skills:\nProficiency in Microsoft Office\nExperience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) / CAP setting. \nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong time
