# Inventory Clerk

Job Summary: The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for verifying and investigating any matters pertaining to stocks so as to provide management with the assurance of the accuracy and integrity of the stock information in the company’s computerized perpetual inventory system (SPRUCE) in relation to the existence of physical stocks and the computer balances. MAIN DUTIES:Verify and investigate all stock / inventory discrepancies including those shown on the Negative Stock Reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Year End). Perform random inventory spot checks. Ensure that all items with variances are properly investigated and recounted to confirm the accuracy of the count. Ensure that all stock items are correctly barcoded and are in their proper stock location. Assist in the perpetual inventory stock counts and verification exercises. Assist in product price verification exercises and report any variances immediately to Management for corrective action(s). Assist in the proper disposal of damaged, obsolete or expired stock(s). Regularly verify all committed or pending stock items especially those held over 30 days. Assist in checking / verifying that stock information entered into the Spruce
