Experience with infrastructure as code environments, automating patches and system configurations, and with designing and engineering commercial cloud environments, architectures, and designs is preferred.\nThis position is onsite 5 days/week in Arlington, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide continuous development and continuous integration to include operational engineering and integration, release management, implementation & migration, and training & knowledge transfer. \nDesign, build, and maintain capabilities utilizing the current Amazon C2S enabled architecture and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formation, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, S3, Terraform, and containerization. \nConfigure and manage core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, and Config.\nOperate and improve reliability/availability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and continual service improvement.\nAutomate system deployments and operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).\nDocument and deliver an approach for automated testing including integration, regression, and acceptance testing, including tools and processes.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation (build guides, runbooks, diagrams, and operational procedures).\nManage, sustain, and improve the integration and testing environments on the unclassified and classified infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud to validate all capabilities and technologies prior to being deployed on the production environment. \nStage new and upgraded services components or services to integration and testing environment. \nDevelop and engineer improvements to the cloud infrastructure and architecture to support continuous development and continuous integration utilizing modern practices and tools. \nSupport and perform deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (i.e., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Bitbucket).\nMaintain documentation of code developed in support of CESO environments. \nSupport patching, logging, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tracking.\nParticipate in the release management process. \nParticipate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and Jira-based task tracking.\nDevelop automation to reduce manual operations (provisioning, patching, backups, scaling, routine maintenance.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nCandidate must currently have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly. \nBA/BS and 8-12 years of experience in Information Technology.\nExperience with AWS or other cloud services reinforced with architectural design experience.\n4 years’ extensive experience in AWS Cloud Technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts. \n4 years’ experience in implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formations, Terraform, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Docker, GIT and S3. \n4 years’ experience in building end-to-end solutions on AWS leveraging Object Oriented Programing (OOP) programming. (Python, Ruby, Java, PHP) and AWS SDK. \nExperience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (i.e., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Bitbucket)\nIAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP) \n PAY RANGE:The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
