The Business Analyst will work directly with customers to capture business and user requirements and communicate those requirements to the team. This role will define detailed stories and epics, with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and development teams where the candidate will facilitate meetings with internal technical and operational teams. In addition, this role will be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents, including functional, technical, training as well as planning and roadmaps.\nMultiple openings are available across varying experience levels. These are fully onsite opportunities requiring a daily commute to the Washington, DC area. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nGather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.\nBuild datasets and visualizations to support reporting and analytics.\nPerform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and maintain metadata and data dictionaries.\nDiagnose and resolve data issues, including performing manual data updates and extracts.\nManage and update user stories in Atlassian Jira.\nDocument current processes and partner with stakeholders to design improved future-state workflows.\nEstablish governance and lifecycle processes for key data domains.\nConduct focus groups and synthesize qualitative findings with survey data.\nMentor junior team members and support overall project delivery.\nExecute engineering activities such as requirements analysis, planning, integration, testing, documentation, deployment, and system evaluation.\nEnsure data accuracy and implement leadership-approved updates.\nPartner with business and digital teams to align with strategic roadmaps and integrate data across systems.\nDefine and communicate data attributes, definitions, and acceptable values.\nBuild processes to monitor and remediate data health and communicate performance metrics.\nProvide stakeholder training and participate in governance forums.\nWork with developers to design integrations connecting master data to other systems.\nSupport solutions leveraging AWS and ServiceNow.\nWork effectively in an agile, cross-functional environment.\nManage multiple priorities independently and ensure timely, accurate delivery.\nParticipate in user acceptance testing and recommend improvements.\n QUALIFICATIONS:Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance. Ability to pass additional customer suitability screening(s) prior to start.\nCurrent Security+ or equivalent/higher\nEducation and experience depending on job level:Level III: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4-8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n Lead: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 6+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.\nKnowledge of data and/or software architecture\nSuccessful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)\n PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.\nExperience with JIRA, Git and Confluence.\nUnderstanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.\nAWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications.\nExperience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test.\n PAY RANGE:The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
