The Test Engineer works in a fast-paced Agile environment to verify and validate system changes and advance modern testing techniques. This role supports testing, configuration validation, and ongoing development of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring successful delivery of digital transformation capabilities across ITIL processes and automated workflows.\nMultiple openings are available across varying experience levels. These are fully onsite opportunities requiring a daily commute to the Washington, DC area. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsure high-quality software delivery using Agile/Scrum testing practices.\nAnalyze requirements and collaborate with leads to ensure testable implementations.\nCreate automation tests using ServiceNow’s Automation Test Framework (ATF).\nHelp define testable acceptance criteria for user stories.\nTest ServiceNow capabilities developed during each sprint.\nSupport the test manager with test procedure development and execution.\nParticipate in sprint reviews and planning sessions.\nTranslate functional requirements into effective test cases.\nPerform regression testing and validate full operational test scenarios.\nPrepare test reports summarizing results, anomalies, and configuration changes.\nSupport software configuration management and understand component interfaces.\nDevelop test plans, test data, and acceptance criteria.\nSupport customer demos, data prep, and UAT activities.\nUse Jira to document testing progress and defects.\nAssist with maintaining validation portions of requirements traceability (RVTM).\nMentor junior testers as needed.\n QUALIFICATIONS:Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance. Ability to pass additional customer suitability screening(s) prior to start.\nCurrent Security+ certification or higher/equivalent\nEducation and experience depending on job level: Senior level: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 6+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n Lead: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 10+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.\n\nExperience with test data management and test automation.\nExperience with DevOps, CI tools, and source control.\nExperience in Agile development/testing.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1-2 years of ServiceNow administration/configuration experience.\nExperience with ServiceNow ATF and modules such as Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, scripting, custom apps, and workflows.\nAbility to analyze code and troubleshoot technical issues.\nUnderstanding of ITIL practices; ITIL certification preferred.\nAWS cloud certifications a plus.\n PAY RANGE:The anticipated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
