Learn more atwww.teads.com.\nAbout the opportunity \nTeads is looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to join our team in Canada. This is a second-tier role: you'll take on the platform-level technical issues escalated from first-tier support, investigate them end to end, and work alongside the people building recommendation technology for the open web.\nYou will be the go-to technical support person, owning a broad set of issues from campaign troubleshooting to integrations and escalations. You will partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders across R&D, AdOps, Account Management, and Product to drive client success. Based in Canada and operating during North American business hours, this role complements our global support center in Slovenia to extend our support coverage across time zones.\nWhat will you do:\nOwn second-tier technical cases end to end, keeping them prioritized and within SLA.\nInvestigate issues escalated by first-tier support and AdOps, and drive them to resolution.\nPartner with account managers to support accounts for large, well-known brands.\nRun calls with clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.\nHandle reports coming in through Slack, Salesforce, email, and other channels promptly.\nVerify that campaigns, pixels, and creatives are set up correctly.\nPull data from our databases, analyze it, and turn it into clear insights and solutions for marketers.\nDocument known issues, workarounds, and escalation paths for the wider team.\nCollaborate across teams to surface ideas that improve our products.\nWhat will you bring to the team?\nExperience in a technical support or technical solutions role, ideally in ad tech, with a track record of resolving customer-facing technical issues.\nSystematic, hypothesis-driven troubleshooter who knows when to dig in and when to escalate.\nClear communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and can de-escalate frustrated clients.\nComfortable in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities.\nSolid grasp of how the web works, for example JavaScript, HTML, HTTP, iframes, cookies, the DOM, etc\nWorking knowledge of SQL for analytical queries (joins, aggregations, CTEs).\nScripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or similar to automate manual work.\nComfortable with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).\nProficient with a text editor (VS Code, Sublime, Vim, or similar).\nBasic Git and command line.\nFluent in English; other languages could be a plus.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior ad tech experience.\nChrome DevTools for debugging.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce and Jira.\nFamiliarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools.\nComfortable working with APIs and REST clients like Postman or Insomnia.\nHands-on use of AI tools such as Claude (Claude Code or Cowork), Gemini, and similar to speed up troubleshooting, analysis, and automation.\nExperience with automation tools like n8n or Workato.\nIf you're a self-driven learner who enjoys digging into complex technical problems, we'd love to hear from you, even if you don't tick every box.
