You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, Product, and other cross-functional partners to solve problems and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.\nWe’re looking for a curious, resourceful engineer who takes ownership, uses data to make informed decisions, and continuously looks for better ways to work. Success at Tealium means being adaptable, accountable for outcomes, eager to learn, and focused on making a meaningful impact for our customers and the business.\nTeam Teal Tech Stack:\nAWS services: EC2, ECS, S3, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, MSK, Kinesis, and CloudWatch\nLanguages: Java 17/21\nFrameworks: Spring, Quarkus, and Hazelcast\nDatabases: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, and Redis\nMessaging and streaming: Kafka, Kinesis, and RabbitMQ\nServices and tools: Jenkins, Datadog, Sumo Logic, JFrog, Telepresence, and TestRail\nBuild and delivery: Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform\nYOUR DAY TO DAY\nCollaborate with software engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, frontend engineers, and Product Managers to design and deliver high-quality connectors and integration capabilities.\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java services and APIs that support real-time customer data delivery.\nBuild and enhance server-side integrations with third-party vendor APIs, including authentication, request mapping, validation, retries, error handling, and rate-limit behavior.\nContribute to connector actions, configuration APIs, metadata services, and user-facing configuration workflows.\nWork with event-driven and batch-processing systems to deliver data reliably and efficiently at scale.\nWrite unit, integration, and automated tests; investigate failures; and improve test coverage and maintainability.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, planning, estimation, demos, and continuous improvement activities.\nContribute to technical design discussions, operational-readiness reviews, troubleshooting, and production-support investigations.\nParticipate in peer code reviews and help maintain coding, security, reliability, and observability standards.\nImprove service performance, monitoring, logging, resiliency, and customer-facing error handling.\nResearch alternatives and recommend pragmatic improvements to existing designs, tools, and development practices.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM\n3+ years of professional Java development experience, including experience with a modern framework such as Spring or Quarkus.\nUnderstanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, clean code, and maintainable, testable systems.\nExperience building or supporting REST APIs and integrations with external services.\nUnderstanding of microservices and distributed-system concepts, including retries, idempotency, timeouts, observability, and failure handling.\nExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, or similar technologies.\nExposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, or Terraform.\nExposure to distributed messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.\nFamiliarity with automated testing, CI/CD practices, Git-based development, and peer code review.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn new technologies and domain concepts.\nClear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders.\nAbility to work effectively on multiple priorities with guidance from senior engineers and team leads.\nNice To Have\nExperience building connectors, integrations, SDKs, API clients, or other third-party platform integrations.\nExperience with high-volume event processing, batch delivery, or marketing, advertising, analytics, or customer-data platforms.\nExperience diagnosing production issues using metrics, logs, traces, or distributed-system tooling.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly for coding, debugging, testing, or technical exploration.\nWage Transparency\nIn several countries worldwide, including regions within EMEA and APJ, employers are required or strongly encouraged to include salary ranges in job postings. We’re committed to providing clear and consistent compensation information to all applicants, regardless of location.\nThis position offers a base salary range of 200,000-250,000 PLN (Polish zloty) annually. The final offer is determined by job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
