Individuals will need to be able to execute those tasks in a timely, accurate, and recurring capacity. This role will be measured on the speed of incident assignment and triage along with more traditional metrics like timecards and quality of customer response. While client communication occurs infrequently compared to a service desk, the importance of a clear and quality response is significantly higher.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform initial response for all security incidents generated from managed services tooling\n\nAccurately classify security incidents into MITRE categories\n\nQuickly identify the difference between a true positive and false positive security alert.\n\nEscalate tickets for scoping when incident indicates a significant compromise\n\nParticipate in additional managed service needs as requested\n\nUpdate documentation on alert processes\n\nOther Responsibilities as assigned by management\n\nMINIMUM SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nAssociate or bachelor's degree\n\nCompTIA Security+\n\nCompTIA CYSA+\n\n1 year + SOC Experience\n\n PREFERRED SKILLS, EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE\nAssociates or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/CS Program\n\n1 year + working in ServiceNow\n\n2 years + MSP (Managed Service Provider) Work experience\n\nMicrosoft SC-200\n\nCompTIA Networking+\n\nCompTIA A+\n\nAdd as needed\n\nStarting Compensation Range: $50,000 per year\nThe salary for this position is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
