We're hiring a skilled Service Technician with a CDL (or willingness to obtain) and someone looking for on-the-job training. We provide you with the latest technology to install tanks and complete repairs to customer tanks efficiently and punctually. We are a faith-based company that values our customers and employees.\nAbout Our Service Technician Position\nInstall, maintain, and service customer and company propane systems, including equipment inspections, leak detection, and repairs on customer property.\nProvide excellent customer service, treating all customers in a friendly and courteous manner; ask questions to understand the problem at hand.\nBill customers for services & parts, and account for funds and inventory of parts & tools.\nWilling to drive and work outdoors, you will cross-train to deliver propane in a Bobtail truck or Cylinder delivery truck (Support in obtaining Class B CDL provided.)\nPerform a visual inspection of truck before and after your shift, maintaining cleanliness inside and out.\nInform manager of all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles or customer property, and any necessary truck maintenance.\nMonday to Friday, approx. 45 hrs per week. Occasional Saturday hours as needed.\nWe will provide on-the-job training.\nWhat We're Looking For In Our Service Technician\nClean Driving History: Must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. We are looking for someone with a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements, or willing to obtain a CDL with endorsements. Must be at least 25 years old, able to pass a DOT physical and drug test, and obtain necessary clearances.\nExcellent Communicator: Able to build great rapport with customers; courteous and friendly.\nMechanically Inclined: Solid mechanical aptitude. Able to use basic tools.\nActive: Must be able to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 pounds\nDetailed: Knowledgeable and confident - can identify and determine the cause of a needed repair. Highly organized.\nTeam Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Driven to do a great job. Great people skills.
