This role has direct oversight of daily facility operations, teammate development, financial performance, member experience, and personal training growth. The General Manager+ leads a team that serves Texas Health employees, community members, and guests while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy, and stage-ready fitness environment.\nLEADERSHIP & FACILITY OPERATIONS\nSet the tone for the facility by modeling FX Well values, leading with energy and integrity, and creating a positive, accountable culture.\nLead, coach, and develop department leaders, Guest Relations teammates, Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, and other facility teammates.\nOwn day-to-day facility operations, including staffing, communication, safety, maintenance, supplies, and operational follow-through.\nReview scorecards and key metrics regularly; build action plans that drive improvement in member experience, staffing, revenue, and retention.\nManage facility budgets, payroll, inventory, and expenses while working toward established financial goals.\nPERSONAL TRAINING & MEMBER GROWTH\nMaintain an active Personal Training client base within an approved monthly training schedule while leading the Personal Training department.\nDrive Personal Training growth through fitness assessments, consultations, trainer-client matching, lead follow-up, referrals, and retention strategies.\nCoach trainers to build their own client base and consistently deliver safe, effective, individualized programs.\nEnsure rookie trainers receive structured onboarding, shadowing, sales and service education, and ongoing accountability.\nLead the internship program by mentoring interns, coordinating meaningful learning experiences, and supporting their professional development.\nMEMBER EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY GROWTH\nEnsure every area of the facility is clean, safe, organized, and stage-ready; address maintenance or equipment concerns promptly.\nBuild meaningful relationships with members and guests, respond to feedback, and ensure concerns are resolved with urgency and care.\nPartner with marketing, wellness services, and local organizations to support facility events, engagement initiatives, and community growth.\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen local partnerships, member acquisition, retention, and overall facility performance.\nRequirements\nSkills and Experience\nThree plus years leading and managing a team.\nExperience in fitness facility management and operations is highly recommended, but not required.\nBS/BA is a plus.\nActive and valid certification from a nationally accredited Personal Training Certification program.\nMust be a passionate team player and a strong motivator.\nMust have strong background in driving performance excellence through strong people management.\nExperience in problem-solving, exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality and the ability to interact professionally and effectively with teammates, guests and members.\nProficiency in computer applications including Google Suite and database applications, specifically CRM software systems and lead generation systems.\nAbility to multi-task with strong time management skills.\nAbility to complete assignments and responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner, often with strict and/or conflicting deadlines.\nExcellent oral presentation, writing, and analytical skills.\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.\nMust have exceptional strong customer service experience and skills.\nPhysical\nMust be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, if needed.\nMust frequently lift 25 pounds or more.\nMust be able to be on feet for at least eight hours per
