Texas Health Fitness Centers are open to both Texas Health employees and the general public, and this role helps ensure each audience feels supported and at home. The teammate supports daily front-desk and facility operations while building relationships, introducing guests to memberships and services, and helping grow engagement in personal training, group exercise, and wellness programming. The ideal candidate has a genuine passion for helping others and delivering an outstanding fitness experience.\nGUEST EXPERIENCE & MEMBERSHIP GROWTH\nWelcome members, guests, and prospects; assist with check-ins and answer membership, service, and facility questions.\nBuild authentic relationships with members and deliver a personalized, helpful, and memorable experience during every interaction.\nLead facility tours and effectively introduce prospective members to membership options, personal training, group exercise, and other services.\nSupport membership, service, and program goals through proactive lead follow-up, phone calls, referrals, walk-ins, and member outreach.\nCommunicate current promotions, programs, schedules, and important facility updates clearly and enthusiastically.\nEncourage member feedback and help ensure concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nMaintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and stage-ready fitness-center environment; complete daily facility inspections and assigned cleaning responsibilities.\nAccurately manage check-ins, memberships, sales, scheduling, member notes, and other transactions within applicable CRM and lead-generation systems.\nRespond to member, guest, and prospect inquiries by phone, email, and in person.\nMaintain accurate lead notes and follow-up activity in CRM and lead-generation systems.\nMaintain knowledge of the Fitness Center's memberships, services, equipment, wellness programs, and policies.\nParticipate in daily huddles, coaching, and team meetings with the Senior Team Lead and/or General Manager.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nSkills and Experience\nStrong customer service, hospitality, and communication skills.\nAbility to create a positive experience for members, guests, prospects, and teammates.\nFriendly, dependable, organized, and accountable to daily responsibilities and performance expectations.\nComfortable making phone calls, following up with leads, and supporting membership or promotional goals.\nAbility to learn and use CRM, lead management, POS, and member management software systems.\nAbility to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced fitness center environment.\nCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming facility.\nPassion for helping others and supporting a positive fitness and wellness experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in customer service, hospitality, fitness, wellness, retail, or front desk operations.\nExperience with membership sales, lead follow-up, guest tours, or promotional campaigns.\nExperience using CRM, POS, scheduling, or member management
