Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll help ensure freight reaches its destination safely and on time, while adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.\nIn this role, you’ll be responsible for completing local pickups and deliveries, ensuring freight is handled safely and delivered to customers in a timely and professional manner. You’ll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly while providing a high standard of service to our customers.\nKey responsibilities\nCompleting scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the local area.\nLoading, unloading and securing freight safely.\nEnsuring all freight is handled with care and delivered accurately and on time.\nCompleting delivery paperwork and electronic scanning as required.\nMaintaining vehicle safety through regular checks and reporting any defects.\nFollowing all road safety requirements, company procedures and workplace health and safety standards.\nProviding professional and courteous customer service at every delivery point.\nWhat you'll bring\nA current and valid C Class driver's licence\nPrevious experience in a delivery or transport role, preferably within a fast-paced freight environment.\nA strong focus on safety, reliability and time management.\nGood communication and customer service skills.\nThe ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.\nA practical, hands-on approach to loading and unloading freight.\nBasic technology skills, including the use of scanners or electronic proof-of-delivery systems.\nFull working rights in Australia.\n#LI-DNI #LI-DNP\nAbout Team Global Express\nTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
