This is a fixed-term position until the end of February 2027, working Monday to Friday.\nThis is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting the day-to-day operations of our freight hub. You'll regularly move between the depot floor and office, assisting customers with freight collections, damaged freight enquiries and general freight-related requests, while supporting the operational and administrative requirements of the depot.\nThe role involves handling and moving small parcels, coordinating freight activities and completing administrative tasks to ensure freight is processed accurately and daily operations run smoothly.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist customers with freight collections, enquiries and damaged freight matters, providing a helpful and professional service.\nSupport the movement and handling of small parcels across the depot, including locating, sorting and preparing freight for collection.\nLiaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to coordinate freight movements and resolve day-to-day issues.\nPrepare and manage freight manifests, ensuring consignments are accurately recorded and allocated.\nComplete data entry, freight documentation and general administrative tasks.\nConduct driver debriefs, process returned paperwork and follow up on discrepancies.\nCarry out freight and documentation audits to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.\nProvide flexible, hands-on support across both the depot floor and administration functions as required.\nSkills & Experience\nPrevious experience in customer service, administration, freight coordination or transport operations will be highly regarded.\nStrong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers, drivers and internal teams.\nComfortable working in a hands-on depot environment, including regularly moving between the office and operational floor and handling small parcels.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when completing administrative tasks and documentation.\nAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.\nA proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbout Team Global Express\nTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
