This is a fast-paced operational role responsible for coordinating urgent and time-critical freight movements across our Same Day and Premium Services network. Working closely with customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal teams, you will ensure freight is collected and delivered safely, efficiently and on time while providing exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process.\nKey Responsibilities\nPermanent full-time position. Monday to Friday, 6:00pm to 2:00am\nCoordinate Same Day and Premium Services freight movements from booking through to delivery\nAllocate and coordinate jobs with drivers, subcontractors and service providers\nMonitor freight movements and proactively manage delivery performance throughout the day\nTrack consignments and ensure service commitments are achieved\nCommunicate with customers, drivers and operational teams to provide timely updates and manage expectations\nManage operational disruptions, delays and service issues while identifying effective solutions\nPrepare customer quotes and process bookings accurately and efficiently\nRespond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner\nManage inbound customer enquiries through dedicated phone queues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of requests and service issues\nConduct outbound calls to customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to coordinate freight movements and provide service updates\nManage incoming emails, customer enquiries and service requests through Salesforce, ensuring cases are actioned, updated and resolved within service expectations\nEnsure Proof of Delivery and operational documentation is completed accurately\nWork closely with branches, account managers and operational teams to deliver outstanding service outcomes\nMaintain accurate records within internal systems and operational platforms\nFollow company procedures and promote a strong commitment to safety and compliance\nWhat You’ll Bring\nPrevious experience in transport, logistics, courier, freight forwarding or a fast-paced operational environment (preferred but not mandatory)\nExperience coordinating deliveries, dispatching, scheduling or allocating work is highly regarded\nStrong customer service and stakeholder management skills\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure\nHigh attention to detail and excellent organisational skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment\nProficiency using Microsoft Office and operational systems\nA proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service\nAbout Team Global Express\nTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
