We’re not only transforming our operations but striving towards changing the logistics industry and becoming an Environmental, Social, and Governance leader by 2030.\nAbout the rol e\nTeam Global Express is seeking experienced full time MC Drivers to join our Straightline team, supporting a mix of local transport, heavy haulage and specialised project work.\n$37.6745 per hour for local work\n$0.6581 per km for applicable long-distance work\nPlus applicable Long Distance Award allowances\nIdeally, candidates will be based in Perth; however, we are open to experienced drivers based in other locations who are comfortable travelling and spending extended periods away from home when required.\nThis is not your typical scheduled linehaul role. The work is varied, with different customers, locations, equipment and projects depending on operational requirements. Work may include local site-to-site and wharf-to-site movements, oversized and heavy haulage, as well as overnight, multi-day and FIFO assignments.\nWe are ideally looking for drivers who are flexible and willing to undertake a variety of work, including those with a strong background in specific areas of transport.\n\nWhat you'll do\nOperate MC combinations across local, heavy haulage and specialised transport work\nTransport oversized and specialised loads using floats, drop decks, ramp trailers, extendable trailers, deck wideners, sidelifters and PBS equipment\nComplete local and interstate site-to-site and wharf-to-site movements\nUndertake occasional day trips, returning home each night\nUndertake overnight, multi-day and FIFO assignments as required\nSafely load, restrain, transport and unload specialised equipment\nWork across customer sites, mine sites and other project locations\nComply with load restraint, fatigue management and site safety requirements\nWhat you'll bring\nUnrestricted MC licence preferred, but candidates with the right experience may be considered and supported to obtain this\nDemonstrated MC driving experience\nProven ability to operate safely and professionally to a high standard\nExperience in heavy haulage, oversized loads and/or specialised transport\nExperience with floats and ramp trailers\nCompetency operating Road Ranger gearboxes\nStrong knowledge and practical experience in load restraint\nFamiliarity with mine site safety requirements\nDangerous Goods (DG) licence/experience highly regarded\nExperience with sidelifters, drop decks and PBS combinations highly regarded\nExperience loading and unloading heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators/diggers, rock trucks, water carts and graders highly regarded\nFlexibility to travel and spend extended periods away from home when required\nStrong safety focus and ability to work independently\nWhy TGE\nWe care about our customers, our people, and our planet.
