This is a Full Time Permanent Position, where you'll work closely with drivers, dockhands and the wider operational team to coordinate daily activities, address operational challenges, maximise resource utilisation and ensure service commitments are delivered safely and efficiently.\nKey responsibilities include:\nLeading daily PUD operations to ensure freight is collected, processed and delivered safely and on time\nCoordinating drivers, vehicles, forklift operators and labour resources to meet operational and customer requirements\nMonitoring service performance, productivity and DIFOT outcomes while identifying opportunities for improvement\nSupporting route execution, fleet utilisation and labour planning to maximise operational efficiency\nProviding frontline leadership, coaching and performance support to operational team members\nManaging day-to-day operational challenges and making timely decisions to maintain service outcomes\nEnsuring compliance with company procedures, Chain of Responsibility obligations and WHS requirements\nConducting safety conversations, toolbox talks and operational briefings with team members\nWorking collaboratively with customers, drivers and internal stakeholders to resolve service issues and deliver positive outcomes\nDriving a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement and customer focus\nWhat you'll bring\nDemonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a transport, freight, logistics or distribution environment\nStrong understanding of pick-up and delivery operations and the challenges of managing time-critical freight movements\nExperience leading operational teams including drivers, forklift operators, freight handlers or warehouse employees\nSound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, workplace health and safety requirements and operational compliance obligations\nAbility to coordinate labour, fleet and equipment resources to meet daily service requirements\nProven ability to manage competing priorities and make effective operational decisions in a fast-paced environment\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across operational teams\nExperience monitoring operational performance, service levels and productivity KPIs\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement practical operational improvements\nSound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems\nExperience within a parcel, general freight or transport network operation\nExposure to fleet scheduling, route planning or transport coordination activities\nQualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport or a related discipline\nAbout Team Global Express\nTeam Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
