This role works closely with other warehouse staff, drivers, counter personnel, and customers to ensure timely order fulfillment and safe material handling while demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and commitment to company policies and values.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuickly and accurately pull orders based on delivery schedule and demand\nSafely load and unload trucks\nAssist customers with loading products\nInventory - count, organize, and maintain stock, inspect condition and quality, move and replenish as necessary\nKeep aisles clean of stock and debris\nSweep warehouse floors daily and as needed\nSafely operate forklift and pallet jack\nReport mechanical problems and unsafe conditions to the Warehouse Manager\nOther duties as assigned\nOther Role Requirements:\nPositive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude\nTeam player mentality\nStrong communication skills\nStrong organizational skills\nForklift certified\nAbility to regularly lift or move up to 100lbs\nBasic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)\n2 years of warehouse experience a plus\nAttention to detail\nStrong commitment to the Team Horner Value System\nPhysical Requirements:\nRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, and handle materials throughout the workday.\nFrequently required to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials, with or without assistance, in the normal course of warehouse operations.\nAbility to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and move heavier items with a hand cart of or other mechanical aids. \nAbility to operate warehouse equipment (such as forklifts and pallet jacks) safely.\nAbility to perform repetitive motions and maintain productivity standards in a warehouse environment.\nVision, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.\nAbility to work in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to dust, temperature variations, and noise typical of distribution operations.\nThe physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
