Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nCloud Engineer - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement cloud-native infrastructure supporting modern application architectures.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using software engineering best practices.\nBuild automation solutions, tooling, and pipelines to improve platform reliability and developer experience.\nCollaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready, resilient, and observable.\nTroubleshoot cloud and platform issues, supporting incident resolution and root-cause analysis.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform landscape.\nSupport and guide development teams in cloud and platform best practices.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure-related roles.\nStrong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production operations.\nExperience working with Linux-based systems and infrastructure troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of Kubernetes concepts, including Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).\nFamiliarity with API gateway technologies, such as Envoy.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.\nExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.\nStrong hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).\nSolid programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation and tooling development.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.\nStrong understanding of Linux operating systems and administration.\nExperience supporting scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.\nNice to Have\nCloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) at Foundation or Associate level.\nKnowledge of Go (Golang).\nExperience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.\nExperience managing large-scale containerized workloads.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.\nProactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.\nStrong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.\nCloud Engineer — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
