Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nJunior Cloud Engineer - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement cloud-native infrastructure supporting modern application architectures.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using software engineering best practices.\nBuild automation and tooling (scripts, services, pipelines) to improve platform reliability and developer experience.\nCollaborate closely with application developers to ensure systems are cloud-ready, observable, and resilient.\nTroubleshoot cloud and platform issues, participating in incident resolution and root cause analysis.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.\nStrong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production operations.\nExperience with Linux-based systems and system troubleshooting.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).\nKnowledge of Kubernetes concepts, including Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).\nFamiliarity with Envoy as an API Gateway.\nHands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).\nStrong hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).\nSolid programming skills in at least one language such as Java or Python, used for automation or tooling.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation, ARM, or Pulumi acceptable).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD systems and developer workflows (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).\nGood understanding of Linux systems.\nNice to Have\nCloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud at foundational or associate level).\nKnowledge of Go (Golang).\nExperience supporting modern cloud-native application platforms.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.\nExperience with automation and platform engineering best practices.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset.\nCollaborative, open communicator across technical and business teams.\nProactive, curious, and eager to continuously learn new technologies.\nStructured and autonomous working style in agile environments.\nJunior Cloud Engineer — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
