Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nJunior DevOps Engineer - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the day-to-day monitoring and operation of production systems.\nAssist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents following established operational procedures.\nParticipate in on-call rotations with mentorship and escalation support.\nHelp maintain monitoring dashboards, alerting rules, and observability solutions.\nContribute to operational activities such as service checks, deployments, and configuration updates.\nAssist in documenting runbooks, operational procedures, and known issues.\nSupport continuous improvements in platform reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n1+ years of professional experience in IT, Systems Administration, DevOps, Operations, or Software Engineering roles.\nEducational background or professional experience in IT Operations, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.\nUnderstanding of operational processes, incident management, and escalation procedures.\nAbility to work within structured support models and service-level objectives.\nBasic knowledge of Linux systems and command-line tools.\nUnderstanding of system administration fundamentals, including processes, logs, and networking concepts.\nInitial exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.\nFamiliarity with container technologies, particularly Docker.\nKnowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.\nAbility to read and understand application code written in Java, Python, or scripting languages for troubleshooting purposes.\nUnderstanding of deployment processes and operational support activities.\nComfortable working in Agile and Kanban environments.\nNice to Have\nCloud and infrastructure-related certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Linux) at Foundation or Associate level.\nStrong interest in cloud technologies, automation, and platform operations.\nExperience with observability and operational monitoring practices.\nExposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps tooling.\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and automation practices.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.\nCollaborative approach with effective communication skills.\nProactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.\nStructured and organized way of working.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.\nJunior DevOps Engineer — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
