Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nJunior Fullstack Developer (TypeScript & React) - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nContribute to the development and maintenance of frontend applications using React and TypeScript.\nDevelop responsive user interfaces and reusable components using modern frontend frameworks and design systems.\nSupport the development of backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.\nIntegrate frontend applications with APIs and implement appropriate data validation and error-handling mechanisms.\nContribute to database development, data modelling, and query implementation.\nSupport authentication and authorization implementations using modern security standards.\nWrite and maintain unit tests for frontend and backend applications.\nCollaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, Backend, and Platform Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.\nParticipate in code reviews, team discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n1-3 years of professional experience in Fullstack, Frontend, or Backend Software Development.\nPrevious experience developing applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, or similar technologies.\nBasic understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.\nAbility to translate defined business and product requirements into technical solutions with guidance.\nUnderstanding of how frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and databases interact.\nHands-on experience with React and TypeScript.\nKnowledge of reusable component development and responsive UI design.\nExperience with Tailwind CSS or similar frontend styling frameworks.\nExperience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and error-handling principles.\nBasic knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks such as Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.\nFamiliarity with schema validation technologies such as Zod.\nUnderstanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication mechanisms.\nExperience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.\nFamiliarity with Git workflows, CI/CD practices, and collaborative software development.\nNice to Have\nRelevant internships, graduate programmes, or practical software development experience.\nBasic experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.\nExposure to Playwright, Storybook, Figma, and modern development ecosystems.\nCloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nAbility to identify, communicate, and resolve blockers proactively.\nStrong willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills.\nCurious, proactive, and problem-solving mindset.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nReceptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.\nJunior Fullstack Developer (TypeScript & React) — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
