Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nJunior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure the availability, performance, reliability, and resilience of cloud-native platforms and customer-facing services.\nOperate at the intersection of software engineering and operations, applying automation, observability, and reliability best practices.\nSet up end-to-end observability, including metrics, logs, and traces across distributed systems.\nDefine, implement, and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with product teams.\nAnalyze system bottlenecks and proactively identify sources of instability.\nCollaborate with development teams to integrate reliability early in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nPartner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to align reliability frameworks and operational standards.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Engineering, Operations, DevOps, or as a Full Stack / Software Developer.\nExperience working in production and operational environments, including on-call support.\nStrong incident response and troubleshooting capabilities in high-availability systems.\nStrong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production operations.\nExperience with Linux-based systems and troubleshooting.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nHands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and Ansible.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.\nExperience developing backend services using Node.js and NestJS.\nExperience building frontend applications using React and TypeScript.\nExperience designing and integrating REST APIs.\nNice to Have\nAWS Associate certification.\nMicrosoft Azure Associate certification.\nGoogle Cloud Associate certification.\nKubernetes certifications.\nInfrastructure as Code certifications in Terraform or Ansible.\nExperience following structured incident, problem, and change management processes.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset.\nCollaborative and effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.\nProactive, curious, and committed to continuous learning.\nStructured, autonomous, and adaptable approach in Agile environments.\nJunior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
