Work-life balance, beginner’s mind, and community involvement are our identity and our starting point for this journey.\nSenior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Is that you?\nLocation: Lisbon (Hybrid)Experience Level: SeniorLanguage: English (minimum B2)\nKey Responsibilities\nEnsure the availability, performance, reliability, and resilience of cloud-native platforms and customer-facing services.\nWork at the intersection of software engineering and operations, applying automation, observability, and modern reliability practices.\nSet up end-to-end observability, including metrics, logs, and traces across distributed systems.\nImplement and manage Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with product teams.\nAnalyze system bottlenecks and proactively identify sources of instability.\nWork closely with development teams to embed reliability early into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nCollaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to align reliability frameworks and operational standards.\nImprove system design, deployments, operability, scalability, and performance through continuous optimization initiatives.\nSupport capacity planning, performance tuning, and platform growth strategies.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Systems Engineering, Operations, DevOps, or Production Support roles.\nExperience working in production and operational environments, including on-call support.\nStrong incident response and troubleshooting skills in high-availability systems.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Development, Infrastructure, and Security.\nExperience following structured incident, problem, and change management processes.\nStrong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and production operations.\nExperience with Linux-based systems and system troubleshooting.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nHands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.\nSenior-level experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.\nKnowledge of security scanning tools and DevOps best practices.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.\nExperience working in Agile and Kanban environments.\nNice to Have\nAWS Professional Certifications.\nMicrosoft Azure Professional Certifications.\nGoogle Cloud Professional Certifications.\nKubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKAD or equivalent).\nDevOps Certifications.\nExperience supporting large-scale cloud-native platforms.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset.\nProactive, curious, and committed to continuous learning.\nStructured, autonomous, and adaptable approach to work.\nAbility to thrive in fast-paced Agile environments.\nSenior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) — Is that us?\nHorizontal structure.
