The agency, its people and client campaigns have won many prestigious awards, including Cannes Lions, Holmes Report, ICCO, PRCA and European Excellence.\nPurpose of the role\nWorking directly for the Head of Development, within an expanding team, this role works alongside other digital creatives and developers to devise visually arresting and engaging websites, mobile applications and e-campaigns. Campaigns that will surprise and delight users, exploiting cutting edge development techniques and methods.\nYou will live and breathe development and will be able to demonstrate your ability to not only create complex solutions, but also understand how to architect development solutions that uphold the initial vision and delivers business benefit.\nMain responsibilities\n· Considers website development beyond the brief, and extends it to include commercial aspects and business value considerations\n· Works closely with the Head of Development and the agency’s development team to maintain and evolve the development standards of the agency\n· Develops designs to an excellent creative standard, collaborating with other delivery functions\n· Full stack development using Word Press, NextJs / React, SCSS / JavaScript / TypeScript\n· Develops and progresses opportunities to diversify the development product portfolio, highlighting opportunities to expand the agency capability set\n· Demonstrates high levels of attention to detail and standards of accuracy in all code deliverables\n· Shows a clear understanding, adoption and development of latest techniques and languages and offers exploratory solutions to development requirements\n· Develops a good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable solutions and blueprint products (re-usable assets)\n· Encourages and inspires excellence in both the development and design teams\n· Records and shares lessons learned with team members to facilitate continuous improvement\n· Ensures development architecture is always current and repositories are set up and maintained correctly\nAbout you\nYou will be an engaging and forward-thinking Full Stack Developer with a user centred approach to creating brilliant design experiences. You will ideally have HTML/CSS3/SASS practices that support responsive design, progressive enhancement, SEO best practices, W3C and accessibility standards across both desktop and mobile web.\nAdditional requirements\n· 2+ years development experience\n· Experience with modern front end frameworks like React and NextJs.\n· Understanding of back-end programming concepts\n· Previous Experience ofWordpress\n· Strong vanilla JS skills and front end experience.\n· Positive communication, strong work ethic, ambition and drive.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role.
