The role requires the ability to handle a number of tasks and projects at any one time. The Intern will develop a clear understanding of the team’s requirements and objectives, be proactive in attitude and supportive to the team at all times.\n\nKey responsibilities and tasks\nClient Management\nSupports the new business process by providing research and coordination\n\nAssists with the coordination of press tours, events and review programmes\n\nMedia Relations \nResearches and identifies appropriate journalists, bloggers and analysts on an on-going basis\n\nMonitors relevant news sources and alerts the team to relevant breaking news opportunities\n\nOrganises and coordinates media interviews and press briefings\n\nContent\nDrafts a broad range of written materials\n\nCreates press materials and compelling content for both traditional and digital media\n\nSimple social media management (Must be fairly familiar with Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)\n\nReporting and analysis\nTracks and reports on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, online media engagement, showing progress using metrics\n\nCommunicates account performance internally at account reviews\n\nProvides reports to the Campaign Director or senior management team on request\n\nGeneral\nSupports the Account Servicing team on ad hoc initiatives and projects\n\nTakes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its work, identity and values\n\nRequirements\nInquisitive nature\n\nCalmness under pressure and ability to deliver to tight deadlines\n\nExcellent communication skills (written and spoken)\n\nAttention to detail\n\nFlexible attitude\n\nInterested in building a career in integrated marketing - across PR, social, data, digital\n\nNo experience needed\n\nThis will be a 3 or 6 month internship role.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of the responsibilities for this role.
