What You'll Do

  • Conduct approximately 4-5 residential real estate closings per day, with transaction volume potentially reaching 100 closings per month.
  • Handle residential real estate transactions involving buyers, sellers, lenders, builders, investors, and other parties.
  • Review closing documents, title searches, title commitments, and related transaction materials for legal sufficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and address title issues, curative matters, and other legal issues that arise during the transaction.
  • Apply sound legal judgment when evaluating and resolving title and transactional matters.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, Realtors®, lenders, title professionals, and internal team members throughout the closing process.
  • Explain legal documents, closing procedures, and transaction requirements to clients and other parties.
  • Provide practical legal guidance throughout the closing process.
  • Work efficiently within a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and a strong client experience.
  • Collaborate with closing and pre-closing teams to ensure files are prepared and transactions move forward efficiently.
  • Escalate complex legal or transactional matters appropriately while taking ownership of day-to-day issues and decisions.
  • Maintain timely follow-through on client questions, title issues, documentation, and other transaction requirements.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Experience conducting residential real estate closings and reviewing title matters.
  • Strong legal judgment and the ability to make sound decisions regarding title and transactional issues.
  • Ability to work independently while appropriately utilizing guidance from a supervising attorney.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
