Carney’s ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, general security training, and developing our solutions.\nKey Information:\nTHIS POSITION REQUIRES ONE DAY A WEEK ONSITE IN LINTHICUM MARYLAND.\nTHIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.\nThe Role and Responsibilities:\nThe ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise in the development, delivery and maintenance of the Information Security Curriculum. This includes working with client program leads, management, technical staff in the design, conversion, development and delivery of training and certification projects, curricula, and products.\nInstruct and perform course manager duties \nComplete client Instructor Basic and Intermediate Certification as defined in the client Instructor Certification Manual \nServe as course manager for course/products and instruct, prepare classroom, perform administrative support, manage classes and student accounts, and perform course maintenance \nDemonstrate mastery of General Security knowledge, skills, and policy \nPerform routine day-to-day course maintenance services to include Instructor led, eLearning course and products associated with General Security courses \nInstruct General Security courses to include basic and advanced instructor- led courses in accordance with the course schedule \nProvide classroom support and preparation \nServe as a SME in response to student and customer inquiries with respect to General Security \nProvide SME support for Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and for Beta testing of new products \nProvide assistance to the Curriculum Manager in all phases of the ADDIE process, to include file management, and extensive course review from cradle to grave \nReview training material/deliverables and provide recommendations on the accuracy of and relevancy of content of instructor-led eLearning, webinars and performance support tools (i.e. storyboards, instructor guides, participant guides, design plans, and other related material) \nPerform annual review of assigned courses and products \nMinimum Qualifications to Succeed:\nU.S. Citizen\nCurrent Active Secret security clearance \nBachelor’s degree in the field of education from an accredited university\nMinimum 2 years of experience in the Information Security field.\nIn lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, five years of experience as an instructor for adult learners, in formal classroom or via distance learning courses related to DoD Security Policy \nExperience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint \nPreferred Qualifications\n· Five years of work
