You set the technical standard: the quality, security, and integration of what ships rest with you.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role inside a cross-functional team of analysts, developers and QA specialists, working alongside the task-force’s Agile Product Owner. You partner daily with enterprise and solution architects, platform teams and the bank’s architecture and delivery forums, and you are the person the team turns to when a design decision needs to be made.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTranslate architectural requirements and regulatory needs into solution designs and technical implementation plans\nDefine and maintain technical standards, development principles, and solution patterns\nLead technical design discussions and validate implementation approaches\nSupport estimation, technical planning and execution feasibility assessments\nGuide development and QA throughout delivery\nEnsure built-in quality, security, performance, and operational readiness of solutions\nOversee integration of delivered solutions into the Baltic Payments ecosystem\nTake part in architecture, integration and delivery forums where relevant\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies\nSupport environment setup, infrastructure changes, migrations and other technical initiatives assigned to the task-force\nWhat We Expect\nMust-have:\nStrong experience leading complex enterprise application deliveries\nDeep knowledge of Java-based architectures and modern integration patterns\nHands-on experience with Kafka, APIs, orchestration design, event-driven architecture, microservices and distributed systems\nExperience translating enterprise architecture into implementation-ready solutions\nStrong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud (Azure) environments\nProven experience in financial services\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nBased in Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania, able to work on-site three days a week\nNice-to-have:\nPayments domain experience\nCamunda for process orchestration\nBackground in regulated environments\nManagement experience\nWhat’s in it for you:\nTechnical ownership of a high-visibility payments programme at one of the region’s largest banks\nB2B contract with competitive senior hourly rate \nHybrid(3 days on-site)\nInterview Process:\n1.
