Candidates must be capable of translating technological capability into tangible business value, including accelerated development cycles, elevated quality standards, improved predictability, and reliable project delivery.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nStrategic Technology Leadership\nDefine the tools supporting the development pipeline, build systems, asset management, and publishing processes\nEstablish standards governing code, architecture, and system integration\nEvaluate investment priorities in internal tooling, automation, AI, and emerging technologies\nDetermine \"build versus buy\" strategy across internal development and external implementation\nGame Production Support\nEnsure the engine, tools, and pipeline align with design, art, QA, and the broader creative vision\nEnsure tooling enables consistent delivery of high-quality content\nResolve performance, build, and integration issues at a systemic level\nEnsure technology decisions remain consistent with budgetary and production constraints\nTechnical Team Leadership\nOversee the growth, organisational structure, and strategic direction of technical departments\nTechnical Quality & Risk Management\nIdentify risk at an early stage, including technical debt, unrealistic technological commitments, overly complex pipelines, key-person dependencies, and outdated processes\nProvide an authoritative assessment of whether a given technological approach, timeline, and team are sufficient to deliver on stated objectives\nBusiness & Production Planning\nTranslate creative vision into actionable technical, organisational, and financial decisions\nDetermine staffing requirements and necessary competencies (hiring vs. internal upskilling)\nIdentify areas where technology can provide a competitive advantage\nOrganizational Scaling\nDevelop shared frameworks and systems\nStandardise pipelines across the studio\nFacilitate technical knowledge transfer between teams\nMaintain high-quality documentation\nDrive the long-term evolution of the organisation's technological environment\nREQUIREMENTS\nExperience & Skills\nDemonstrated experience in a comparable leadership role (e.g., Technology Director, Chief Technology Officer)\nExperience defining technology roadmaps for teams or studio-wide initiatives\nAt least one AA+ or AAA title shipped\nDemonstrated track record of effective collaboration with production, leadership, and technical teams\nAbility to make technical decisions grounded in sound business reasoning\nStrong practical command of modern tools, automation, and AI-driven workflows\nCompetencies\nStrong combination of technical expertise and strategic acumen\nComprehensive understanding of game production constraints and budgetary considerations\nAbility to bridge technology, production, and business functions\nProactive approach to AI, automation, and emerging tools\nHigh degree of autonomy and decisiveness\nLanguage Requirements\nFluent English (written and spoken) -
