You’ll contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture, influence engineering practices, and ship features that support some of the world’s largest volunteer programs. You’ll play a key role in our transition to a principle-led, product-focused engineering model - with a strong emphasis on scalability, quality, documentation, and collaboration. This is a senior-level role requiring demonstrated experience in SaaS, cloud-native environments, and modern software development practices. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer you’re comfortable transitioning between front and back end development using your systems thinking skills to create world class experiences for our customers. You will play an important role in Rosterfy’s evolution towards version 3 (event driven architecture and domain driven development)\nKey Responsibilities:\nAs a full stack Senior Engineer you will design and deliver scalable features using Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS \nCollaborate closely with QA, Product, and Design to deliver features with user impact in mind\nBuild and evolve APIs, integrations, and reusable components\nParticipate in improving CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and system performance\nLead by example in code quality, documentation, and peer mentorship\nContribute to architectural improvements, technical discovery (feature scoping) and execution of our engineering strategy\nEnsure accessibility and localisation across our multi-region SaaS platform\nMaintain compliance-minded engineering practices (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2)\nQualifications:\n4+ years building SaaS products end-to-end, ideally in multi-region environments.\nComfortable working across the full stack - from frontend to backend.\nTechnical\nStrong with Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) and modern frontend tools (React, Next.js, or Vue), XDebug, writing unit tests.\nFront and Back end Engineering expertise.\nMobile (React Native)\nExperience working in ISO/SOC2 compliant environments\nUnderstands accessibility, scalability, and localisation for global users\nComfortable operating in cloud-native stacks using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling\nExperienced in designing within and around a modular monolith architecture\nSkilled in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL), with a strong focus on data modelling for scale and performance\nAI Driven Skills (Big Plus)\nFeature delivery velocity (Copilot, Gemini, test automation, scaffolding)\nBuilding AI-augmented product experiences (LLM API usage, prompt design)\nCoaching others on integrating GenAI into workflows\nCharacter & Mindset\nResilient and adaptable - You embrace change and help others navigate ambiguity with calm and confidence.\nProactive problem solver - You identify issues early, take ownership, and push solutions forward without waiting to be asked.\nClear communicator - You articulate ideas clearly, write well, and listen with intent.
