We’re looking for someone who knows how to diagnose the problem, do the job right, and take pride in the finished repair.\nWhat We Offer\n$32-$44 per hour based on demonstrated skill level\nNo flat-rate pay\nSign-On Bonus based on Technician LevelLevel 1 Technician - $1,500\nLevel 2 Technician - $2,500\nLevel 3 Technician - $3,500\n\n$1,000 Annual Tool Allowance - $250 per quarter\n$200 Annual Boot Allowance\nMonday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM\nNo weekends\nCompany-provided uniforms\nManufacturer and vendor technical training\nBenefits That Work for You\n80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing with your years of service\n8 hours of paid Personal Leave each year, in addition to PTO\nPaid holidays\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nMATE-funded HRA contribution toward your medical deductible - up to $3,000\n 401(k) with company match: MATE matches 50% of the first 8% you contribute, for a maximum company match of $3,000 per year\nCompany-paid $50,000 Basic Life & AD&D Insurance\nCompany-paid Short-Term Disability\nCompany-paid Long-Term Disability\nEmployee Assistance Program and additional support resources for you and your family\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Heavy Truck Diesel Technician, you will:\nDiagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including diesel engines, chassis, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, and related components.\nUse diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, engine, and emissions-related issues.\nPerform preventative maintenance and repairs, including inspections, fluid and filter services, lubrication, brake and suspension work, cooling systems, and other component repairs.\nTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including PTO-driven systems, pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and related components.\nDiagnose and repair electrical systems by troubleshooting wiring, power, sensors, and electrical components.\nPerform repairs safely and efficiently while following manufacturer and company procedures.\nComplete electronic work orders accurately, documenting diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and additional work recommended.\nCommunicate with the Service Manager and team regarding diagnoses, repair needs, parts, and additional support.\nContinue developing your technical skills through manufacturer training, vendor resources, and hands-on experience.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and/or equipment\nSolid knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, drivetrains, and related mechanical systems\nAbility to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and a systematic approach\nExperience with hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses, and PTO-driven systems\nExperience with welding and fabrication is a plus\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment\nMust have your own basic hand tools\nValid driver's license required\nClass A or B CDL is a plus\nWhy MATE?\nWe’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work and want to continue building their skills.
