We’re interested in people who have experience in sales, hospitality, retail management, customer service, recruiting, or other people-focused environments where building relationships, communicating well, solving problems, and staying adaptable were important to success.\nIf you like having ownership of your work, enjoy a good challenge, and get satisfaction from connecting the right people with the right opportunities, we’d love to talk with you.\nBenefits\nSalary Range: $55,000-$68,000 annually, based on experience\nMonday-Friday Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM\nSchedule: In-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays at our Easton, MD corporate office, with additional in-office days as needed\nCompany Laptop: Provided for work performed outside the office\nComprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and additional coverage options\nGenerous PTO: Accrue two weeks of paid time off in your first year\n 401(k): Company match\nEmployee Referral Program\n Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCareer Growth: Development, stability, and advancement opportunities within MATE\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll own the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering closely with hiring managers across MATE.\nPartner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring needs, priorities, and timelines\nSource, engage, and screen candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, direct outreach, and creative sourcing strategies\nBuild and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs\nConnect with candidates, understand what they’re looking for, and communicate opportunities in a way that is genuine and engaging\nServe as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process\nCoordinate interviews, manage scheduling, and keep the process moving from intake through onboarding\nEvaluate candidates objectively and provide hiring managers with clear, job-related feedback\nHelp identify solutions when a search isn’t producing the candidates we need and adjust the approach as needed\nSupport offer development, extension, and negotiation in partnership with leadership\nManage pre-employment steps and help ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new TeamMATE\nRepresent MATE at recruiting events, job fairs, networking opportunities, and branch visits as needed\nMaintain accurate ATS documentation and handle candidate and employee information with confidentiality and professionalism\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re looking for someone who is:\nSales-minded and relationship-oriented - comfortable starting conversations, building rapport, understanding what motivates people, and creating interest in an opportunity\nIndependent and self-directed - enjoys taking ownership and having the opportunity to make an impact\nAdaptable - comfortable when priorities shift and able to adjust your approach as business needs change\nNaturally curious - asks thoughtful questions and takes the time to understand the situation before jumping to a solution\nA problem-solver - enjoys figuring things out and looking for another approach when the first one doesn’t work\nOrganized and detail-oriented - able to keep multiple searches, conversations, deadlines, and follow-ups moving at the same time\nA strong communicator - comfortable communicating with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership across a variety of roles and backgrounds\nComfortable with a challenge - understands that some positions will be easier to fill than others and enjoys working through the more difficult searches\nCollaborative and accountable - works well with others while taking responsibility for your own work and follow-through\nComfortable with technology - proficient with computers and systems and willing to learn new tools and processes\nQualifications\nMust reside within a one-hour driving radius of the Easton, Maryland corporate office\nProven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, people-facing environment, such as sales, hospitality, retail management, recruiting, restaurant management, customer service, or a similar role\nAbility and willingness to travel to MATE branches and recruiting events as needed, including occasional overnight travel\nAbility to support occasional after-hours communication when business needs require it\nGear Up for Success\nAt MATE, Talent Acquisition is more than filling open positions.
